Goal of Grant

To find best practices and solutions to improve the local availability and use of assistive technology by Ohioans with disabilities, and to identify and provide recommendations for changes in policies that may further improve the assessment, funding, and ongoing training and support processes involved with assistive technology.

County Board of Developmental Disabilities Assistive Technology Survey is Available

September 2017: The OCALI AT & AEM Center will be conducting a survey of the County Boards of Developmental Disabilities to determine current AT practices and supports provided by the County Boards. This information will be used to help determine promising practices and barriers that impact the provision of AT services. (The survey closed October 2017.)
