Notice of Funds Available (NOFA)

A Notice of Funds Available (NOFA) is published when the Ohio DD Council offers a competitive grant opportunity.

Applying for a grant

  • Check the "DD Suite" website: You can find information about a grant and apply for it on the DD Suite website. If any are available, they will be listed under the Notices of Funds Available (NOFA) - Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council link on the DD Suite website. If no grants are available, you will not see a link to the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council.
  • In addition to applying for the grant on DD Suite, applicants must complete an Assurances Document agreement.

Identification of Assistive Technology Lending Programs in Ohio

Applications due Friday, March 3, 2017. The Ohio DD Council is accepting grant applications of up to $25,000 for a project called "Identification of Assistive Technology Lending Programs in Ohio." This project involves developing a comprehensive listing of assistive technology programs and events in Ohio, including recommendations on how to present and market this information for use by people with disabilities and others. More than one grant may be approved depending on applications received, but the total amount for all grants will not exceed $25,000. Executive Committee Discretionary Fund FFY 17

Applications due Thursday, August, 31, 2017. The purpose of Discretionary Fund grants is to support one-time initiatives, not otherwise included in the state plan, in an expeditious manner without the necessity of waiting for the next meeting. This would be accomplished by sponsorship/collaboration on a variety of events/conferences as they relate to significant issues in the developmental disabilities arena. Grant amount is $ 60,000.
