About the Ohio DD Network
The Ohio DD Network works to improve outcomes for people with DD and their families to access needed services, individualized supports, and other forms of assistance that promote self-determination, independence, productivity, and inclusion in all facets of community life. The Network consists of the four programs authorized under the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 (the DD Act) and administered by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The four programs are: Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council; Disability Rights Ohio (Protection & Advocacy program or P&A); the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at the (3) Nisonger Center at The Ohio State University and the (4) Cincinnati Children's Medical Center at the University of Cincinnati.
