Human Trafficking and Vulnerable Populations

Outreach Project

Human trafficking is a horrific form of abuse that takes away a person’s freedom and dignity. Individuals with developmental disabilities may be more likely to be used by traffickers.

This project will develop a “White Paper” to provide the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council with information on how people with disabilities, including people of color, are being used or abused by human traffickers and how Council can help stop this negative behavior against people with developmental disabilities.

Grantee: To be determined
Amount: $30,000
