Ohio’s LGBTQ Community and People with Disabilities

Outreach Project

Research shows that people in the LGBTQ community face barriers finding employment, housing, healthcare and more. LGBTQ people with disabilities often report that it is challenging to have their identities fully recognized. This project will explore whether LGBTQ people with disabilities receive necessary services and supports.

The project will develop a “White Paper” to provide:

  • Information about the challenges faced by people with disabilities, including people of color, in the LGBTQ community.
  • Supporting data.
  • Recommendations for future projects.

Grantee: To be determined
