March 1, 2023: DD Awareness and Advocacy Day

Registration for DD Awareness and Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse opened on Thursday, January 26, 2023 and has already reached its limit of in-person registrations. But you can still register to attend online!
This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Ohio Statehouse. A program featuring speakers with developmental disabilities, family members and other stakeholders will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Statehouse Atrium. Zayne Harshaw will once again be joining to perform on his guitar. Following the one-hour program, participants who have registered and attended in person have been invited to meet with their legislators and staff. And for those attending in person, we are pleased to announce this year’s event will have dedicated space for adult changing tables.
Registration is required for all participants. As mentioned before, space at the Statehouse is limited and we've already reached capacity. But you can register to attend virtually. Please note if you attend virtually, you will not be able to meet with legislators virtually.
