The mission of the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council is to create change that improves independence, productivity, and inclusion for people with developmental disabilities and their families in community life.
To do this, the DD Council identifies problems or needs that should be addressed. These problems or needs are agreed upon by Council members and identified in DD Council's Five-Year State Plan on Developmental Disabilities. This State Plan is used to create specific grant proposals.
In 2019, DD Council took the first step in this process to identify problems or needs by surveying people like you. DD Council reviewed the results and drafted the 2022-2026 Five-Year State Plan on Developmental Disabilities. The State Plan lists the projects that the Council plans to fund.
The second step of the process is to ask for public comments on the State Plan. Now it is time to give us your input on the Five-Year State Plan by completing the surveys that interest you!
